Canada-Ontario Job Grant: provides direct financial support to individual employers or employer consortia who wish to purchase training for their employees. It is available to small, medium and large businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees

Career Focus: Funding for employers and organizations to design and deliver a range of activities that enable youth make more informed career decisions and develop their skills.

Fanshawe College Co-ops: Provide student co-op placements.

Canada Summer Jobs – applications closed for this summer. Check back this winter for 2019 summer applications. Canada Summer Jobs provides funding to help employers create summer job opportunities for students. It is designed to focus on local priorities, while helping both students and their communities.

Youth Employment ProgramSMEs will receive financial support for a portion of the salary costs of a youth candidate, who will work on technical opportunities within the firm and on non-technical but technology-related projects

Tax incentives:

Eligible employers may qualify for the Co-operative Education Tax Credit which will reimburse your business 25 to 30 percent of eligible costs, up to $3,000 for each co-operative education work term.
